Jan 2010 Hey team! I get the whole "When is your album coming' out?" about 10 times a day... Well my friends; since leaving the label I spent 8 years with, I decided to take a short break to recoup and build my dreams again the way I want to build them, and on my own! All I can say, is that God has major plans in the works! So I've been quietly working away writing new songs, building my own studio and experimenting with new tracks with DJ's around Auckland... Singing and songwriting since the age of 12, Zeisha Fremaux (24) found her voice and her love for performing onstage at Papatoetoe Intermediate. Raised in Takanini/Manukau in Auckland, New Zealand; she is of Maori, Samoan, Chinese, German, French and English heritage - a unique mix indeed!
Zeisha is currently performing at live gigs around Auckland acoustically within a band and also as a Vocalist/DJ duo. Zeisha works amongst Pop/Electro Pop/Rnb and extends herself to House genres collaborating with DJ Geoff Parker at some of New Zealand's biggest house events to date working alongside Highlife Entertainment Events.
Songwriting is Zeisha's strong point; nominated for Best Female Artist in the S3 Pacific Music Awards 2008. She has been song-writing since the age of 12 and is in collaboration with The Soundroom.
Instrumentally, Zeisha plays guitar and piano by ear.
Zeisha has worked alongside established artists such as Pmoney, PNC, Faster She Said and The New Freedom.
